Business Blueprint
When you know something needs to change, but you're not sure where to start.
Your business or organisation is working but the way things operate behind the scenes may have not kept pace with how much it's grown or changed.
Processes have evolved rather than been designed. Things are being done differently by different people. Information lives in several places. Responsibilities aren’t always clear or you just know thre must be a better way of doing some of it.
The Business Blueprint gives us the opportunity to step back and look at how things are working as a whole, rather than continuing to fix individual things as they crop up.
I'll take a detailed look at how things currently operate, identify where things could work better, and turn what I find into practical recommendations, priorities and a roadmap for what happens next..
Does any of this sound familiar?
You don’t need to know exactly what needs fixing before we start because that’s often the point!
The Business Blueprint is designed for when you know things could work better behind the scenes, but you’re too close to see where the biggest opportunities for change are.
You might recognise that:
The business or organisation has grown or changed, but your systems and processes haven’t quite kept pace.
Too much relies on one person - or a small number of people - knowing, remembering or checking what’s happening.
Things have been added over time and you’re starting to wonder whether there’s a simpler or better way.
Processes aren’t always clear, consistent or documented which means things can be done differently by different people.
You’re using systems or tools because they’ve always been there, rather than because they’re still the right ones.
You keep fixing individual problems as they appear, but haven’t had the opportunity to step back and look at how everything fits together.
You know there are things you could streamline, automate, delegate or improve - you’re just not sure what would make the biggest difference.
You don’t need to arrive with a list of solutions.
My job is to look at how things are working with fresh eyes, identify where things could work better and help you understand what needs attention first.
Scope & Fees
Every Business Blueprint is shaped around what you need me to review and the size and complexity of your business or organisation. We’ll start with a conversation to understand what’s happening and what you’d like to get from the review. From there, I’ll agree the scope with you and provide a clear fee before we begin. The work will typically include reviewing relevant information in advance, a focused review session and my analysis afterwards to create your personalised Business Blueprint Report. Your report will bring together my observations, recommendations and priorities, along with a practical roadmap for what I believe needs to happen next. You can take that plan and implement it yourself, or if there are areas where you’d like me to take ownership of the implementation, we can talk about what that could look like.
FAQs
-
Yes. If the Business Blueprint identifies areas where you’d like additional support, I can help put the recommendations into practice.
That might mean researching and implementing a new system, improving or documenting processes, creating resources or taking ownership of a specific improvement project.
There’s no obligation to continue working together after the Blueprint, but if you’d like help bringing the plan to life, we can discuss what that could look like.
-
Absolutely. The Business Blueprint is a completely standalone service.
You’ll receive my observations, personalised recommendations, clear priorities and a practical roadmap that you can take away and implement yourself.
Some clients choose to bring me back in to implement particular recommendations or lead a piece of work that comes out of the Blueprint, but there’s absolutely no expectation to do so.

Implementation is scoped and priced separately from the Business Blueprint, based on what needs to be done and the level of support required.
Once we’ve identified the priorities, I’ll outline where I can help with implementation and provide a clear scope and fee for any additional work.
Some clients simply need the Blueprint and a clear plan to follow themselves, while others choose to bring me back in to implement particular recommendations or take ownership of a specific piece of work.
