A focused period of senior-level support across your business - helping you work out what needs attention, make decisions and get important work moving.

As your business has grown, so has the amount you’re responsible for.

There are decisions to make, projects to move forward, processes that need sorting, ideas you want to pursue and things behind the scenes that you know could work better.

But there isn’t one neat project you can point to and say, “that’s the problem.”

There are several things happening across the business at once and you need someone experienced who can get across it quickly, help you work out what needs attention and then get stuck into making things happen.

That’s what the 90-Day Business Edit is for.

What is a 90-Day Business Edit?

For a defined period, I come into your business as an experienced second brain and an extra pair of senior-level hands. Unlike Project Leadership, where I’m brought in to lead one specific project, the 90-Day Business Edit allows us to work across several areas of the business at the same time.

I’ll get underneath what’s going on, help you decide what needs attention and where your time and resources are best spent - but we won’t stop at talking about it.

Where it makes sense, I’ll take ownership of agreed priorities and pieces of work too. That could mean researching and implementing a new system, improving a process, coordinating a project, documenting how something works, helping structure responsibilities across the team or finally moving forward something that’s been sitting on your list for months.

This isn’t consultancy where I hand you a report and leave you to implement it. And it isn’t a retainer where you send me a list of tasks.

It’s temporary, senior-level capacity inside your business with someone who can think alongside you and then get stuck into making things happen.

This might be right for you if….

  • Your business is growing or changing and there are several things that need attention at once.

  • You’re making most of the decisions and driving most of the important work forward yourself.

  • There are projects, improvements or ideas you want to move forward, but you don’t have the capacity to lead all of them.

Investment

The 90-Day Business Edit starts from £5,000, with final pricing agreed once we’ve talked about what’s happening in the business and the level of support you need.

The investment will depend on the scope of the work, the areas we’ll be focusing on and how involved I’ll be in moving those priorities forward.

This is a defined period of support with a clear beginning and end and not an open-ended retainer or ongoing financial commitment.

FAQs

  • The Business Edit runs for 90 days.

    We’ll start by getting clear on what’s happening across the business, what needs attention and what we want to achieve during our time together.

    From there, we’ll agree the priorities and I’ll get to work. We’ll stay in regular contact throughout the 90 days so we can review progress, make decisions and adjust priorities if something changes.

    There’s a clear plan and a defined end point, but enough flexibility to respond to what’s actually happening in the business along the way.

  • Project Leadership is for when you have one defined project or outcome that you want me to take ownership of and deliver.

    The 90-Day Edit is broader. I’m working across the business with you for a defined period, helping you make decisions, identify priorities and move several pieces of work forward at the same time.

    If Project Leadership is “take this and get it done,” the Edit is “there’s a lot going on - help me work out what matters and get the important things moving.”

  • The Edit has a defined end point, so as we approach it we’ll make sure anything we’ve introduced or changed is properly embedded, documented and handed over where needed.

    We’ll also look at what still needs attention and what your priorities should be from there.

    There’s no expectation that we continue working together afterwards. The point is to leave the business in a stronger position, with the work we’ve done able to continue without me.

  • It completely depends on what’s happening in your business.

    We might improve or document processes, research and implement systems, move projects forward, look at roles and responsibilities, coordinate people or suppliers, solve an operational problem or turn an idea you’ve been sitting on into something tangible.

    Usually it’s a combination of things rather than one single piece of work - which is exactly why the 90-Day Business Edit exists.

  • This is collaborative, so I’ll need your input, particularly when we’re making decisions or I need your knowledge of the business.

    But you won’t be expected to work everything out and then hand me a list of tasks. Part of my role is to identify what needs to happen, create the structure around it and take ownership of agreed pieces of work.

    The aim is to give you additional senior-level capacity - not another person you need to manage.
