Your business has grown. But too much of it still relies on you.

You’ve built an established, successful business but behind the scenes, a lot still sits with you - the decisions, the ideas, the projects, the problems, the things that need fixed, changed or finally dealt with. And when you’re the person everyone else comes to for answers, there often isn’t anyone looking at the bigger picture with you or taking some of it off your plate!

That’s where I come in. I’m Jen, a Business Consultant and Project Leader. I work with established female business owners who need an experienced second brain and someone who can actually get things done.

I come into your business on a short-term or project basis to work out what needs to happen and when, take ownership of projects and moving parts, coordinate the people involved and keep things moving through to completion.

That could mean leading a project you don’t have the capacity to manage yourself, sorting out a process or system that isn’t working; researching and implementing a new solution, documenting how things are done, putting better structure in place or helping you navigate a period of growth or change while keeping the team engaged and the day-to-day business moving.

Sometimes you need someone to think alongside you and sometimes you need someone to take something off your plate and get it over the line.

I do both.

How can I help?

You don’t necessarily need ongoing support or another permanent member of the team. Sometimes you need the right person, with the right experience, for a specific problem, project or period of growth. That’s why everything I offer is focused, defined and designed around what your business actually needs.

Decision & Direction Session

When you need to work something out.

A focused business consultation for when you’re facing a decision, problem or opportunity and need an experienced perspective.

We’ll get underneath what’s really going on, challenge assumptions, explore the options and work out what makes sense for you and your business.

Business Blueprint

When you know something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start.

A strategic review of your business to identify what’s working, what isn’t, where you’ve outgrown the way you currently operate and what needs your attention first. You’ll come away with practical recommendations, clear priorities and a roadmap for what happens next.

Project Leadership

When something important needs to actually get done

You’ve got the idea, objective or project but not the capacity to lead it yourself. I step in and take ownership. Depending on the project, that could mean researching options, creating the plan, coordinating your team or external suppliers, managing timelines, solving problems, documenting new processes and keeping everything moving from idea through to delivery.

You get senior-level project leadership without the need to recruit someone permanently and without having to manage me along the way.

The 90-Day Business Edit

When it isn’t just one thing - it’s several things across the business.

A focused 90-day period of senior-level support for times when the business is growing, changing or just has too many moving parts for you to keep holding them all yourself. I’ll work out what’s happening, help identify what needs attention and work alongside you to move it forward - bringing structure, direction and additional leadership capacity where it’s needed most.

This isn’t a retainer or another pair of hands waiting for instructions. This is experienced support inside the business for a defined period of time.

Business Consultant. Project Leader. Second brain when you need one.

My background spans more than 20 years across HR, people, operations, systems, learning and development, leadership and project work. I’ve also been self-employed for over a decade, so I understand both sides - the structure and complexity of established organisations and the reality of running a business where so much ultimately comes back to you. I’m naturally curious. I ask questions. I spot things. I research. I organise. I challenge when I think there’s a better way. And once we’ve worked out what needs to happen, I’m very comfortable rolling my sleeves up and making sure it does.

It’s that combination of thinking and doing that sits at the heart of The Business Edit.

Not sure what you need? That’s absolutely fine.
